During the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 shooter games on the Android platform in Mexico exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Below, we break down the performance of each game based on data from Sensor Tower.

Free Fire: 7th Anniversary by Garena International I experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, starting at around $210K in late March and peaking at approximately $270K by the end of June. Weekly downloads showed a fluctuating trend, starting at 187K and ending at 137K. The game maintained a strong user base with active users ranging from 12.1M to 15M throughout the quarter.

Free Fire MAX, also by Garena International I, saw a consistent rise in weekly revenue, beginning at $94K and reaching $126K by the end of the quarter. Downloads were relatively stable, fluctuating between 67K and 91K. The game had weekly active users ranging from 317K to 371K.

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7 from Activision Publishing, Inc. showed a mixed revenue trend, starting at $69K and peaking at $100K in early June, before ending the quarter at $86K. Weekly downloads were consistent, hovering around 54K to 74K. Active users ranged from 595K to 717K, with a notable peak in mid-June.

Balloon Crusher: Shoot’em all by KAYAC Inc. did not generate revenue during this period. Apex Legends Mobile from Electronic Arts, which was released in mid-May, saw initial weekly downloads of 323K but experienced a decline to around 19K by the end of June. Revenue peaked at $20K in its second week and gradually decreased to $11K. The game’s active user count started at 314K and dropped to 109K over the same period.
